MetaGrip Ponytail Hooks Review

Image
I got these ponytail hooks free from Sally's with a coupon for purchasing a different item. I bought the brown one and 5 come in the pack. There are other colors too. The package says it is for "easy and secure ponytails or braids" and the directions are "Wrap your ponytail, brad, or knot until the band feels secure and hook." The package says these are a "great option to traditional pony tail holders".  I bought them because I figured they would damage my hair less , it would be easier to use, and it would hurt less to have a ponytail so it doesn't feel too tight. I tried it out and it didn't work very well for me. I read that you can use them one of these ways: 1.) hook one hook on hair then hook the other hook to the band 2.) put the 2 hooks together 3.) hook one hook into hair then hook the other hook into the hook that is hooked to the hair The first two options simply didn't work for me; only the 3rd did.

Save the Dates and Invitations Review/DIY

The best, cheapest options I came up with for Save the Dates for both DIY and buying are: DIY http://www.weddingchicks.com/freebies/save-the-dates/ They have limited save the date templates that are somewhat customize-able. You will have to print these yourself and buy your own envelopes. They also have some really cool customizable monograms that you can use for anything, including your cell phone wallpaper! BUYING http://www.annsbridalbargains.com/ The great thing about Ann's is you can order absolutely FREE samples to see how the Save the Dates - and invites - really look and feel. A lot of other sites I looked into charges for samples. The samples get to you within a week or so and my samples came with a coupon code for my future order which was great. All the Save the Dates and Invites I saw include the envelopes and the more you buy, the cheaper each one costs. I loved my Save the Dates and Invitations and then had to go back and order more Invitations. Th

Everday Minerals Review

Image
This is a review of makeup ordered from http://www.everydayminerals.com/ . I've heard mineral makeup is very good so I ordered a 7-piece sample for $2.71 (shipping). Here is my review of this (work in progress as I try all 7 samples) Light neutral matte base sample I liked this sample. There's enough for 2 applications. It seemed a bit dark for me but it was easy to use and covered my face nicely. Nature's Sweet Side blush sample This blush is very, very nice but at first I put way too much. A little goes a long way.

DIY Flower Girl Basket

Image
This project was very, very simple. I bought a flower girl basket from Michael's and then bought a few fake flowers and some floral tape as well for a total of about $20 per flower girl basket (of course after using coupons!). The 40% off coupon helps a lot at Michael's. At least as of the date I am writing this post, if you sign up for their emails or download their app, you should ALWAYS have a 40% coupon at your disposal. Once you have the flowers, estimate how high you want them and you can cut the flowers with scissors. I made a tiny bouquet and placed it in the middle and then tossed in flowers around it to complete the bouquet. After the wedding, I would recommend using the floral tape for the entire thing, unlike what I did. One of my flower girls was very rough and was playing around and dropped the basket and a lot of the flowers came out - or you could try a Styrofoam bottom and stick the flowers in there. Overall though, this was a great money-saving r

Inbox Dollars Review

Image
InboxDollars is a online rewards club that pays you to read e-mails, search the web, take surveys, and even pays you to complete some of their offers, for example: Receiving $2 for a new user to use Turbo Tax $4.50 for buying a Snuggie $.025 for signing up for Flixster  It isn't a big money maker but you have nothing to lose. I have personally received a $30 check and am on my way to earning another check and it was nice to get that check in the mail! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I posted a link below that will take you to their website as well as a screen shot of my current earnings.              Click HERE to start earning money for free!
