One Two Lash Magnetic Eyelash Extensions

So, I learned about these eyelashes in Cosmo, I believe.  I thought it was such a great idea that I almost immediately ordered now one, but two pair of these.  I will say I was confused about never receiving an email confirmation of my order or any type of tracking number, but sure enough, my packages were delivered in just a couple of days!!

Today was my first day wearing them and they were easier than I expected to take off, but a bit harder to take off.... I'll have to see how taking them off tomorrow goes.  As far as putting them on, I first tried the tweezer-like devise they came with and while this wasn't incredibly difficult, I think it's easier just to put one on your top lash and then put the other lash on the bottom of your top lash.

Like I said, taking it off was the harder part for me.

When I put them on it felt like my eyes were being peeled up a bit.  I'm not sure how else to describe this.  Perhaps I put the eyelash extensions a bit too close to my natural lash line.

Overall though, these were great for the first few uses!  I have had some difficulty with the magnets shifting around after a few uses and now when I put them on, they don't look as natural as they once did.  For the price I paid, ultimately, I would not suggest buying these...  But, I should note I bought the smaller version of these.  They are about half the length of an actual lash.

One Two just released a full-length version, which I haven't had the opportunity to try.  I think the same problem would happen with those though (the magnets would shift after a few uses and start to look odd).  I'm not sure if One Two was the original creator of these, but I have seen much cheaper version of this product and I would rather pay less for a few uses than pay One Two such a high price to not last for long.

MetaGrip Ponytail Hooks Review

I got these ponytail hooks free from Sally's with a coupon for purchasing a different item. I bought the brown one and 5 come in the pack. There are other colors too. The package says it is for "easy and secure ponytails or braids" and the directions are "Wrap your ponytail, brad, or knot until the band feels secure and hook." The package says these are a "great option to traditional pony tail holders".  I bought them because I figured they would damage my hair less , it would be easier to use, and it would hurt less to have a ponytail so it doesn't feel too tight. I tried it out and it didn't work very well for me. I read that you can use them one of these ways: 1.) hook one hook on hair then hook the other hook to the band 2.) put the 2 hooks together 3.) hook one hook into hair then hook the other hook into the hook that is hooked to the hair The first two options simply didn't work for me; only the 3rd did.

Maybelline 205 Nearly There Lipstick Review

I bought this lipstick at Target. I haven't had much luck with lipstick in general- maybe it's just me...? I didn't care too much for this lipstick. I bought it for $4.99 at regular price. It wasn't very smooth. I ended up wiping most of it off and topping it off with chap-stick like I do with all my other lipsticks to dilute them a bit.
